Deflection Clips by Flex-Ability Concepts

The Three Legged Dog, a new deflection clip, eliminates fumbling or dropped clips.  Installation is only three basic steps: 

1. Slide the Three Legged Dog over the end of the stud which has been cut short to allow for deflection

2. Lift the stud (with the Three Legged Dog on top) into the deep leg track and twist into the proper position.

3. Fasten the Three Legged Dog to the top using typical methods - screws or powder actuated fasteners .

Optional. The Three Legged Dog provides positive attachment for studs. If a more positive attachment is desired, install a #8 wafer head screw at the arrows in the slot. Be sure to leave the screw loose about one turn to allow movement.
